You are the newly hired environmental project engineer for the Riverdale, N.Y. office of
EnviroJasper. You are to coordinate a field study and data analysis project for a new client
concerned about some possible contamination of their SPDES permitted food processing waste
stream and new EPA WET implications . The microbiologist on your team ( a 15 year
employee) asks a simple question: "So young hotshot engineer, just tell me what kind of sample
containers to bring with us in the field?" Thinking quick, you say "I'll get back to you in 20
minutes or so". How do you answer later?
(Let the technology do the work for you both finding the applicable regulation and wading
through it with a search tool. Done like this, it's a few minutes work. And if you can find this
obscure guideline - you can probably find anything like perhaps the water quality standard
applicable to your next client!)
