Have you ever imagined what it
would be like to design your own room? You could pick the color of
your paint, decide if you would like carpeting or tiles, and choose the
furniture you wish. Would you have a TV? Where would you put
it? How about a computer station... and a play station.. and a stereo
system? Would they all fit?

Task

You have the chance to design your
own room. However, before you get excited about buying all new items,
you will need to plan a room layout. You will need to find out the
correct length and width of your room. You will also need to figure
out the volume of large pieces of furniture, such as your bed, bureau,
and desk. Make a list to help you plan your work Painting comes
before carpeting. Carpeting comes before adding furniture.
Your task will be exciting but challenging.
For this assignment you will be
creating a Power Point presentation to take your classmates through the
steps of creating your dream room.
