The Cloisters house the Metropolitan Museum of Art's collection of art and architecture from medieval Europe. Best known for the beautiful tapestries on display, the Cloisters also offer architectural installations, a series of special programs, and fantastic views of the Hudson.

Current Exhibitions

Imperial Privilege: Vienna Porcelain of Du Paquier, 1718–44 (September 22, 2009 – March 21, 2010)
This exhibition will chart the history of the development of the Du Paquier factory, setting its production within the historic and cultural context of Vienna in the first half of the eighteenth-century. The porcelain to be featured will be drawn from both the Metropolitan Museum and the premier private collection of this material.
