Leaf tissues - monocot
EPIDERMIS: Note epidermal cells and guard cells. Also, particular to grass leaves, note bulliform cells. These cells are bubble shaped and fill with water to control leaf rolling and unrolling. Under drought conditions, bulliform cells collapse and the leaf rolls up.
