Welcome! Our program is concerned with fostering the intellectual, social, spiritual, vocational, personal, and professional development of individuals throughout the life span. It is grounded in research and shaped by the needs of schools, community agencies, and colleges that require the services of professional counselors. Counselors-in-training will develop their knowledge and skills to address these areas of development and will enhance their ability to be empathic, caring human service providers. Set in a large metropolitan area, the campus is also close enough to suburban New York to allow counselors-in-training to have variety in their field and internship experiences. A faculty/student ratio of 1:15 allows for personal attention and an intimate classroom setting.
