Lycopodium trystachyum
This species of Lycopodium is found on dry gravelly banks. Strobilii are not produced as often as in other species found in wet areas. The spores will germinate to produce underground a small and rarely known gametophyte. Below are photomicrographs of sections of root, rhizome and strobilus. Tissues are similarily identified as in other species.
